What's the single most important thing players should understand after reading these rules?
The single most important takeaway is the necessity of adhering to the BCRP Server Rules and Golden Rules. These encompass staying in character at all times, avoiding OOC (out of character) and IC (in character) bleed, and maintaining a respectful and non-toxic environment for all players. The rules prioritize roleplay quality and community well-being above all else.
If you had to pick just 3 rules that players MUST know, what would they be?
- Stay in Character: All players must remain in character at all times. OOC and IC bleed is not allowed.
- No Toxicity: Toxicity, excessive negativity, and bullying are strictly prohibited.
- Value Life: Every player is expected to value their life at all times, avoiding actions likely to cause their character's death.
BCRP Server Rules
Golden Rules
-All players are to stay in character at all times, all ic matters, knowledge, information and storylines are to remain in character.
-OOC and IC bleed will not be tolerated in any way.
-Toxicity, excessive negativity, bullying is not allowed and BCRP staff reserves the right to remove anyone from the community if they are determined to not be a fit.
-No member is to ask for or provide information on jobs, crimes, activities or any other in character meta out of RP.
Community Rules
-All players and characters must be 18+
-All players MUST read and understand the rules before playing on the server, it’s every player's responsibility to know and understand these ⇨ rules or seek clarification on rules they do not understand.
-The Economy Server is a serious roleplay community, RP must be kept to the highest standard at all times.
-All players must follow streaming TOS in relation to language usage
-No player may share their account or allow unwhitelisted members access to the server
-Treat all members with respect, no form of drama, toxicity, bullying will be tolerated
-Any instances of Sexism or hate speech will be met with expulsion from the community.
-We do not allow controversial topics or divisive political debate in the discord
-While members are encouraged to provide constructive feedback and suggestions in the discord, excessively negative or whiny conduct is not welcome.
-All RP must be kept in character at all times, we do not tolerate in character issues becoming out of character issues or impacting the way members treat others in the community.
-We are not here to mediate your relationship drama. If you date someone and end up breaking up then leave the other person alone but involving the staff team in your drama and using us to enact some petty revenge is just cringeworthy at best.
-All members must keep a level head when playing in the server, losing your cool and screaming obscenities, punching your keyboard, throwing chairs through walls is considered OOC, no one wants to RP with someone who is in a fit of rage over an RP scene, if you feel you are losing your temper you must step away from the server and not let out of game emotions affect your in game actions.
-BCRP staff reserves the right to eject members from the community that they deem unfit for the server.
-No inappropriate, sexual, or derogatory statements.
-Harassing other players, sexual or otherwise, is prohibited.
-Fanboying over the owners/content creators is not allowed and any
-Unnecessary interference with their scenes or RP’s can result in an immediate removal.
-Controversial Political Subjects - This subject should never be brought into roleplay.
-ERP (roleplay involving sexual activities) - is not allowed on the server and anyone caught doing so will be banned immediately.
